The Coalition is delighted to welcome two new charter school members as well as two new corporate members. We share more on these schools and companies below. We are grateful for their partnership with us!
New School Members
Discovery Charter School, located in Bahama, serves middle and high school students. The school’s mission “is to prepare students to be self-motivated, lifelong, independent and collaborative learners through a challenging STEAM-focused curriculum in an innovative and supportive environment.”
Summit Charter School, located in Cashiers, serves students in grades K-12. According to the school’s mission, “The Summit community engages students in learning experiences that stimulate discovery, inspire excellence, and nurture a positive influence in an ever-changing world.”
More than 100 North Carolina charter schools are members of the Coalition.
New Corporate Members
Parlér Properties LLC is a full-service real estate company in Wake Forest headed by the amazing Hilda Parlér (who also serves on the NC Charter Schools Review Board). Services include “residential sales, buyer representation, property marketing, investment guidance, acquisition and disposition, and real estate consulting.”
Pinnacle Charter Schools is a network of public charter schools in Arizona serving students in grades 6-12. Pinnacle operates both in-person and online campuses, serving over 87,000 students.
