The Coalition is delighted to welcome Excelsior Classical Academy as our most recent new member school. A K-12 charter school located in Durham, Excelsior first launched in 2015. The school offers students a college preparatory education, focused on the liberal arts.
Here is Excelsior’s mission:
Excelsior Classical Academy is a public charter school dedicated to providing excellence and equity in education by developing in every student a foundation of knowledge, a practice of reason, a quality of eloquence, and a habit of virtue, to prepare each student for a lifetime of learning and citizenship.
Excelsior’s community and program hinge on the four core values of equity, excellence, integrity, and community.
Welcome to the Coalition, Excelsior! We’re delighted to have you as a member and look forward to partnering with you in the year ahead.
