Earlier this month, Lincoln Charter School (LCS) conferred its “Legacy of Service” Award on Congressman Pat Harrigan. The school honored Congressman Harrigan, who represents North Carolina’s 10th District, at a Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 7. LCS also welcomed nearly 200 veterans to its Denver campus for the event.
Below, we share the update from LCS, along with event photos:
We were honored at this year’s Veterans Day Celebration to award the Lincoln Charter “Legacy of Service” Award to Congressman Pat Harrigan.
The Legacy of Service Award honors “a veteran who embodies the values and vision of Lincoln Charter School – a lifelong learner and servant leader whose dedication to our nation and community reflects our shared commitment to honesty, respect, empathy, responsibility, service, and preparedness.”
Representative Harrigan is a West Point graduate and a former Commander in the Special Forces who served two tours of duty in Afghanistan.
We appreciate his service and the service of everyone who has answered the call to protect and defend our nation, inspiring the next generation of servant leaders.
Lincon Charter School is a Coalition member school. LCS operates campuses in Lincolnton and Denver, North Carolina. Learn more about LCS here.
