By March 6, 2026 News

Madi Cogan, a senior at Lincoln Charter School in Denver, North Carolina, is the recipient of a $25,000 Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship. Madi received the scholarship personally from Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy on February 26, when he stopped by the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Denver where she works.

Here’s what Lincoln Charter said about Madi on Instagram:

Lincoln Charter is so proud of senior Madison Cogan, who was surprised last week by Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew T. Cathy with a $25,000 scholarship through the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures program!

Madi is one of just 13 Restaurant Team Members nationwide to receive the $25K award in 2026.

A Hospitality Team Member at Chick-fil-A Denver, Madi is known for her incredible work ethic and the warmth she brings to every shift. At Lincoln Charter, she shines in the classroom, competes on the soccer field, and gives back through Special Olympics, local animal shelters, and peer tutoring.

With this scholarship, Madi plans to pursue a degree in computer science and enter the cybersecurity field.

Congratulations, Madi! We are SO happy for you.

Wow, amazing! So are we. Congratulations to Madi and to her extended LCS and Chick-fil-A family!
